About the event
Deerstalkers at the ready for David Spicer’s follow up to the award-winning comedy, Doing
Shakespeare. Starring Steven Arnold who played Ashley Peacock in Coronation Street for
over 15-years.
The Golden Age Murder Mystery Theatre Experience Company present their corporate
murder mystery evening ‘The Roar of the Greasepaint the Smell of the Murder’. The
talented and handsome actor, Kit K. Boodle has been murdered…but whodunnit?
Was it his Venezuelan lover and leading lady, Senorita Caramelo Annunziata Bellisima?
Maybe it the jealous and unnoticed understudy. Phyllis Frump? Or was it Manfred Albrecht
Heinrich Von Klutsenburger, embittered German Playwright? Nobody is above suspicion,
not even our very own hard boiled but soft centred Inspector Courtney Casey of Scotland
Yard.
As the actors struggle through the show, not helped by their audience of two nerdish and
irritating armchair sleuths, behind the scenes all is far from right with the company.
Fiction and reality intertwine in this play-within-a-play-within-a-play that has more twists
and turns than a cheap garden hose. DOING WHODUNNIT will have you on the edge of your
seats as the bodies pile high and our wannabe detectives try - but probably fail - to work out
who did the dunnit!
